South Lakeland Sustainable Community Strategy 2008-28
The Sustainable
Community Strategy is the area's overarching plan for tackling
agreed local priorities. In 2008, after looking at evidence, such
as local people’s views and statistics, South Lakeland Strategic
Partnership agreed the following priorities:

· Children and young people
· Safe communities
· Health and well-being
· Housing to meet local need
· Involving communities
· Jobs, skills and regeneration
· A quality environment
